Reporting to the Brand Creative Lead this role plays a key part in promoting brand awareness, driving store traffic, and increasing product sales through strategic marketing efforts. The Social Media Specialist will assist in content creation, social media and email marketing, and the coordination of local events and promotions. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, has strong attention to detail, enjoys collaboration, and is passionate about home design, interior renovation, or lifestyle branding.

We are seeking a highly creative, versatile, and hands-on Social Media Specialist to own our brand's visual identity across all marketing channels. This role is responsible for high-level collaboration and the hands-on execution of compelling visual assets. They will create reels, posts, and other social media content which have high-impact designs that drive engagement, build brand equity, and support business growth.

The ideal candidate is a master of their craft, equally comfortable developing a high-concept campaign identity in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign as they are building effective email templates in HubSpot or empowering the team with templates in Canva. They are also familiar with Instagram, LinkedIn, and other Social Media platforms that involve planning, shooting, editing, and posting engaging content that drives business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Planning and Scheduling: Conceptualize, develop, and execute the visual identity for integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring a cohesive and compelling brand experience across all touchpoints. • Traffic/Conversion: Monitor link click, click-through rates (CTR), and cost per click (CPC).
    • ROI Measurement: Evaluate campaign efficiency using cost per acquisition (CPA) and return on ad spent (ROAS).
    • Executive Reporting: Translate platform data into clear reports linking social performance directly to company growth and revenue.
  • Software Proficiency: Serve as the team's expert in core design and marketing platforms:

    • HubSpot/CRM: Build and manage on-brand, mobile-responsive email templates and landing page assets within the platforms. Manage and update website content and assets directly within the company’s content such as newsletters.
    • Canva: Create easy-to-use templates for the broader team (e.g., social media, presentations) to ensure brand consistency at scale.
    • Instagram: Proficient in scheduling, creating, and managing posts, data, captions, and audio. Write on-brand captions that sound human, local, and authentic.
  • Video Project Management: Manage a high volume of creative requests, prioritize projects effectively, and deliver high-quality work on time.
    • Shoot Original Content: Capture video independently – events, behind the scenes, product features, store visits. You being the eye.
    • Edit End to End: Turn raw footage into polished reels, TikToks, and Shorts – trimming, captions, audio, and text overlays.
    • On-Camera Interview: Comfortable conducting or appearing in interview-style Reels. Direct a subject, ask the right questions, keep it natural.
    • AI-Powered Production: Actively use AI tools (CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Gemini) to level up your workflow within the parameters set by the company.
    • Daily Stories: Create a multi-frame Instagram and Facebook Stories that feel native, tell a story, and keep our audience coming back.
  • Brand Stewardship: Act as a key guardian of the company's visual brand guidelines, ensuring all creative output is of the highest quality and consistently on-brand. Respond to all direct messages across platforms within one business day.
    • Reputation Management – Keep communities clean and welcoming per brand guidelines.
