Southwest Event Rental is Arizona's premier luxury event rental company, specializing in luxury furniture and décor for corporate and social events. We are a fast-paced, creative team that values collaboration, reliability, and exceptional service while bringing memorable event experiences to life.


Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Creative/Intern Design Assistant to support our design and sales efforts this summer. This role is ideal for an emerging creative professional with a strong interest in interior design, graphic design or event design looking to gain hands-on experience in a design-forward luxury event company. You'll assist with mood board creation, website updates, and various administrative tasks that keep our sales operations running smoothly. This position reports directly to the Director of Events and Client Services to ensure all creative work reflects the Southwest Event Rental brand vision. This is a part-time, in-person role.


Schedule & Compensation

  • 3-5 days a week
  • $20.00/hour


Key Responsibilities

  • Create mood boards and visual concepts to support client proposals and collection presentations
  • Assist with website updates, including imagery, copy edits, and visual organization
  • Maintain and update inventory data to ensure accuracy across platforms
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks and creative requests as needed
  • Help maintain brand consistency across materials and platforms
  • Assist with special projects, collection launches, and events as assigned


Qualifications

  • Strong interest in interior design, graphic design, event design or a related creative field
  • Proficiency in Canva and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
  • Creative eye for aesthetics with an appreciation for luxury design and event styling
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently within a collaborative team
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
