The Director of Creative Innovations leads Team Grateful's creative programming and innovative outreach initiatives, developing arts-based, experiential, and culturally responsive programs that engage participants and amplify the organization's mission. This leader inspires community transformation through imagination, cultural responsiveness, and bold creative vision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee creative programs, arts initiatives, and experiential engagement strategies that reflect the community's culture and needs.
  • Collaborate with community partners, artists, educators, and stakeholders to design and deliver culturally responsive programming.
  • Manage creative project pipelines from concept development through successful execution and evaluation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of creative program staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • Align all creative initiatives with Team Grateful's organizational mission, values, and strategic goals.
  • Manage creative programming budgets, resources, and timelines with accountability and precision.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness using participant feedback and data, adjusting strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Represent Team Grateful at creative community events, arts partnerships, and sector convenings.
  • Stay current on trends in creative, experiential, and community-based programming to inform organizational strategy.
  • Foster an organizational environment rooted in imagination, inclusion, and bold innovation.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration, Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in creative programming, arts leadership, or community engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, manage, and execute innovative programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and team development skills.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in arts or community program environments.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
