About the Role:
SellCord is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Advertising to lead our global advertising teams with a focus on the development, execution, and management of advertising strategies across multiple media channels, with a focus on driving success on eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate has strong advertising knowledge and experience with Walmart Connect, Walmart Marketplace, and Walmart.com. This is a hybrid position based out of Bentonville, Arkansas.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth for brands on Walmart.com.
  • Create processes and strategies for efficient advertising via Walmart Connect
  • Lead, mentor, and build a global high-performing team of ad managers with a focus on eCommerce and Walmart advertising platforms while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Walmart, including internal teams and brand owners.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize ad spend, creative assets, and targeting strategies.
  • Partner with internal teams, including marketing, sales, product, and client services, to ensure that advertising efforts on Amazon and Walmart are aligned with broader business goals.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and new developments on eCommerce and Walmart platforms. Experiment with emerging ad formats, technologies, and strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in advertising, with specific experience managing campaigns on eCommere and/or Walmart eCommerce platforms.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, ideally managing global teams.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale ad campaigns and significant advertising budgets on Amazon or Walmart.
  • Experience leading teams in both paid search (PPC) and display advertising on these platforms is highly preferred.
