About the Role

Reporting to the Creative Director, our Creative Lead will run Remitly's integrated, 360 marketing creative for the Americas region. You will oversee the end-to-end development of bold creative concepts across diverse channels, including TV, OOH, paid digital and email. You are a recognized expert in your craft who will manage a small team of creatives, ensuring that all work is conceptually cohesive, impactful, and aligned with both brand and performance objectives. This is a leadership role that requires balancing high-level strategic thinking with an ability to refine creative processes and drive executional excellence in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role out of Seattle, WA, requiring 3+ days a week at our Seattle HQ.

You Will

  • Lead and empower a team of art directors and copywriters, fostering a high-performance culture focused on brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Drive the end-to-end creative strategy for 360 campaigns, ensuring all assets are insight-driven, on-brand, and optimized for channel-specific performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Project Management to innovate creative workflows and ensure briefs result in actionable, high-quality outcomes.
  • Manage external agency partners, overseeing delivery to ensure work meets Remitly's quality standards and strategic intent.
  • Scale creative output by implementing automation, streamlining team processes, and identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies.

You Have

  • 8+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within an in-house team or agency, with a focus on consumer-facing digital brands.
  • 4+ years of people management experience, with a proven track record of coaching senior-level talent and managing team performance.
  • Expertise in 360 campaign execution across TV, OOH, video, paid digital (TikTok, IG), email and landing pages
  • Demonstrate a high degree of ownership and initiative, proactively identifying strategic and creative opportunities
  • Demonstrated autonomy in managing large-scale initiatives and regional creative roadmaps with minimal senior oversight.
  • Analytical proficiency to make data-informed creative decisions, utilizing A/B testing results to iterate on and improve creative performance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executives and align cross-functional teams around a unified creative vision
  • The ability to thrive in ambiguity and rapidly evolving creative landscapes, leveraging emerging AI tools, data-informed decision-making, and innovative process optimization to scale high-quality creative impact efficiently without proportional team growth.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $152,000-$190,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
