VG Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Videographer to lead and oversee high-level video production efforts in support of mission-driven initiatives. This role is responsible for directing video production teams, developing creative concepts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality video products that align with organizational communication goals. The position requires advanced technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to manage complex, multi-camera broadcast and production environments.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct and oversee the work of videographers and production staff, including planning, assigning, and reviewing work.
  • Determine appropriate equipment, tools, materials, and techniques required for video production.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of video production techniques, styles, and technologies to deliver high-quality products.
  • Develop original video concepts aligned with organizational communication goals and initiatives.
  • Create and develop storyboards and scripts for video productions.
  • Present creative concepts and video approaches to leadership and stakeholders for approval.
  • Provide detailed direction to production staff to ensure successful execution of video shoots and post-production editing.
  • Oversee both aesthetic video capture and final editing processes to bring high-level concepts to completion.
  • Manage and execute broadcast-quality event productions, including multi-camera switching, live production elements, and integration of graphics such as lower thirds.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and visual impact across all video deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to video production and editing workflows.
  • Ensure SOPs remain current and accurately reflect tools, processes, and production standards.
  • Document procedures and provide guidance to ensure consistency and compliance.


Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret security clearance is required (must have at time of hire).
  • Extensive experience in professional video production, editing, and broadcast environments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of video production equipment, software, and live production techniques.
  • Experience with multi-camera production, switching, and live event support.
  • Strong storytelling, scripting, and storyboard development skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.


Education/Experience:

  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Video Production, Video Editing, or a related discipline with 10 years of experience providing creative direction and concept development for video production teams across multiple locations.
  • Substitution 1: High School diploma with at least 2 years of related college coursework and a total of 20 years of relevant experience in professional video production and creative development of concepts, scripts, and storyboards.
