Location: Headquarters - Athens, GA Job Family: Specialist
Reports To: Sr Creative Director Exemption: Non - Exempt
Position Purpose: The Marketing and Design Intern will assist with content management and graphic design to engage target audiences and build brand loyalty. This position will also assist in developing and monitoring data analytics to help drive marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and results-oriented marketer with experience in graphic design, content management, and data analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Content Management:
  • Assist in the creation of engaging and authentic content that showcases our brand's impact, values, partnerships, and activities to resonate with our target audience.
  • Assist in developing and executing multi-channel campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Produce social media content, email campaigns, blog posts,
  • Draft and schedule social media, email, and web content in CMS systems.
  • Help plan, promote and execute marketing events both online and offline.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines to maintain a cohesive and consistent brand identity.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining digital asset management system.

2. Graphic Design:
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Design team to create visual assets for a variety of marketing, branding, and communication materials. This may include posters, flyers, social media graphics, infographics, logos, website elements, and more.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop POS materials that align with brand objectives.
  • Contribute to brainstorming and conceptualizing design ideas for different projects, taking into consideration the company's branding guidelines and target audience.
  • Work with design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant graphic design tools.
  • Organize and manage design files, ensuring they are easily accessible to the team and well-archived for future reference.
  • Ensure all design adheres to brand guidelines to maintain a cohesive and consistent brand identity.

3. Marketing Analytics:
  • Assist in developing and monitoring digital marketing analytics to optimize campaigns and track ROI.
  • Track social media channels, trends and conversations.
  • Conduct research to understand the target audience, market trends, and competitors.
  • Develop reports to communicate performance and provide data insights that can inform marketing strategies across marketing channels.
  • Analyze digital asset performance and collaborate with internal partners to continually improve engagement metrics.

Requirements
  • Enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., marketing, graphic design, business, communication) or recent graduate.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and basic understanding of digital marketing channels.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
