Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of marketing and communications initiatives across Independence Excavating, Independence Demolition, and other DiGeronimo Companies operating businesses.

This role develops engaging content, supports social media content creation and execution, creates marketing collateral, supports business development efforts, coordinates internal communications, and assists with company events and employee engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a creative, organized, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with teams across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate LinkedIn and Instagram strategies for Independence Excavating, Independence Demolition, and DiGeronimo Companies by planning content, monitoring performance metrics, analyzing trends, optimizing campaigns, increasing engagement, and driving audience growth.
  • Develop and coordinate content creation across social media platforms by partnering with project teams and employees to identify stories, gather project updates, capture photography and video, and develop engaging content that highlights company projects, employees, culture, and industry expertise.
  • Plan, produce, and edit professional video content to support projects, events, recruiting initiatives, campaigns, and other marketing efforts.
  • Assist in developing marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, ensuring all digital and printed materials maintain brand consistency and high-quality visual standards.
  • Support recruitment marketing initiatives by creating career fair materials, internship and co-op campaigns, recruiting content, and employer branded materials that attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to prepare proposal content, qualifications packages, presentations, and other marketing materials.
  • Support the development, organization, and maintenance of project profiles, employee resumes, and other marketing assets by coordinating with project teams to gather information, develop content, and ensure materials remain accurate and current.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of internal company newsletters.
  • Assist with the planning, promotion, and execution of company events, sponsorships, community engagement activities, and other corporate initiatives.
  • Support the business card ordering process by coordinating employee requests, working with external printing partners, verifying information, and ensuring timely production and delivery.
  • Coordinate company-branded merchandise and promotional inventory by working with vendors and the Marketing Manager on product selection, ordering, inventory management, and fulfillment.
  • Support marketing initiatives for other DiGeronimo Companies operating businesses through content development, marketing materials, communications, and branding support as needed.
  • Perform other marketing, communications, and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of marketing, communications, or graphic design experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PremierePro) and Canva.
  • Experience managing business social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Experience with photography, videography, and video editing.
  • Experience in the architectural/engineering/construction industry ideal.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees, project teams, and leadership across multiple business units.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing technology platforms is preferred.
