    Job Description:

    ROLE SUMMARY

    The Business Manager supports the day-to-day management of client business while helping drive projects from brief through execution. This person serves as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams, bringing strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to the account.

    The Business Manager develops a strong understanding of the client's business, brands, audiences, and category while ensuring work moves efficiently across strategy, creative, social, media, production, and other agency partners. This role is ideal for someone ready to take greater ownership of client relationships and projects while continuing to develop their strategic and business acumen.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage day-to-day client communication and support the development of strong, trusted client relationships.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the client's business model, agricultural brands, audiences, competitive landscape, and category dynamics.
    • Manage assigned projects and workstreams from brief through delivery, helping ensure timelines, deliverables, approvals, and next steps remain clear and on track.
    • Own and maintain status documents, timelines, meeting recaps, action items, and other key account management tools.
    • Partner closely with strategy, creative, social, media, production, and other agency teams to ensure work aligns with client objectives and moves efficiently through the agency.
    • Support paid media creative development and trafficking, as well as organic social media initiatives, coordinating deliverables across internal teams and agency partners.
    • Anticipate client and project needs, proactively flag potential risks, and work with senior team members to identify solutions.
    • Help steward the quality of the agency's work by ensuring deliverables align with approved strategies, creative objectives, client feedback, and business goals.
    • Participate in client meetings and presentations, clearly communicating project updates, timelines, deliverables, and next steps.
    • Contribute to creative development and strategic discussions by bringing knowledge of the client's business, audience, and objectives into the process.
    • Build knowledge of traditional and digital media, social platforms, reporting data, and audience ecosystems and how they contribute to integrated campaign development.
    • Own assigned client and internal deliverables with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability.
    • Build collaborative relationships across agency disciplines and partner teams, particularly strategy, social, creative, media, and production.
    • Support the Business Director in managing account priorities and, as appropriate, contribute to the development of agency interns.

    EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2 to 3 years of account management, client services, or related experience within an advertising, marketing, or integrated agency environment.
    • Experience supporting projects or campaigns across digital, social, paid media, or other marketing channels.
    • Experience coordinating multiple projects, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously.
    • Strong communication skills and comfort participating in client meetings and communicating directly with clients.
    • Understanding of the creative development process and how work moves from brief through execution and delivery.
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including creative, strategy, social, media, and production.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
    • Ability to own assigned workstreams, identify potential issues, and ask the right questions to keep work moving.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced agency environment.
    • Interest in developing stronger strategic, client management, and integrated marketing capabilities.
    • Experience working with agricultural, consumer, B2B, or complex client organizations is a plus.
