Job description

Wing Assistant is looking for a highly driven Business Development Representative - BDR who thrives on prospecting and opening doors with new potential clients.

This role is for someone with a true hunter mindset - someone who is not afraid of rejection, enjoys the challenge of outbound outreach, and is creative in finding ways to engage prospects.

You will be responsible for generating qualified meetings and sales opportunities through cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, SMS, and other creative prospecting strategies.

If you enjoy the thrill of turning cold prospects into warm opportunities, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
  • High-Volume Cold Calling: Make 80 - 100+ outbound calls daily to target accounts, pitch our value proposition, and qualify potential leads.
  • Multi-Channel Prospecting: Execute personalized LinkedIn outreach and follow-up email/SMS campaigns to engage decision-makers.
  • Event & Trade Show Support: Travel to industry conferences and trade shows, working directly with our Events Marketer to engage attendees, network, and convert booth traffic into sales opportunities.
  • Lead Qualification & Scheduling: Identify key decision-makers and schedule qualified meetings for the account executive team.
  • Account Research: Map target accounts and customize outreach messaging to increase connection rates.
  • Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all outreach, calls, and prospect interactions in our CRM.
Requirements
  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in cold calling, BDR/SDR roles, or high-volume phone outreach.
  • Confident, articulate, and energized when making cold calls daily.
  • Hands-on experience using LinkedIn to identify and message prospects.
  • Excited and flexible to travel for conferences and company events as needed.
  • Highly persistent with a strong ability to bounce back from rejection.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales outreach tools.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate:

  • Has a hunter mentality

  • Loves outbound sales and prospecting

  • Is creative with outreach strategies

  • Is competitive and motivated by hitting targets

  • Is comfortable striking up conversations with strangers-both on the phone and face-to-face at events.

  • Creative, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced sales environment.

$45,000 - $55,000 a year

  • Monthly salary: $45K - $55K + Performance-based incentives
