Job description

About the job

The Creative Technologist will support the Android Brand and Google Play Creative team by building the tools, workflows, demos, and prototypes that help creative ideas get stronger and move faster.

This role has two connected parts. First, you will help improve the team's creative process by building internal tools and AI-enabled workflows for briefing, ideation, prototyping, review, production, localization, and scale. Second, you will help turn Google product capabilities into campaign ideas, product demos, prototypes, and consumer-facing stories.

You will work closely with creative leads, brand marketers, designers, writers, PMMs, producers, product managers, engineers, and external partners to make ideas tangible. The strongest candidate will bring technical fluency, creative judgment, product accuracy, and a builder's mindset.

What we are looking for

We are seeing a Creative Technologist who is excited by emerging technology and can help the Android Brand and Google Play Creative team move faster, think sharper, and make more original work by turning emerging technology into useful tools, demos, prototypes, and creative workflows.

This role sits between creative, product, and technology. You will help articulate campaign ideas, translate product capabilities into clear consumer stories, and make those ideas tangible.

The right candidate is part creative thinker, part technical maker, part systems builder, and part AI craftsperson. You should be able to move quickly across AI tools, Figma, lightweight code, APIs, no-code/low-code platforms, and production tools to help teams see what is possible and make stronger creative decisions.

Typically, a mosaic is where all the pieces fit together nicely. That's not us. This Mosaic is where every piece stands out. That's because each person at our agency brings their own, unique set of skills to every brief, build, interaction, reaction, design and idea.
As part of the Acosta Group, Mosaic is one of the original marketing agencies who specialize in interactions, experience isn't just what we have, it's what we create. With 3,000+ team members and hubs in Toronto and Dallas, we've spent over 35 years bringing brands to life through experiential marketing, integrated commerce campaigns, and field sales strategies that drive real behavior change.
From awareness, to earned, brand equity, consideration, and sales - we approach every project with people in mind, regardless of the channel or discipline. The result is an idea that can spark emotion and create action - whether it's a sale or a smile. We celebrate bold thinking and embrace curiosity as we shape what's next.
Acosta Group is an equal opportunity employer and will ensure that applicants with disabilities are provided with reasonable accommodations. If reasonable accommodation is needed, please contact AskHR@acosta.com. Be sure to include "Applicant Accommodation" in the subject of your email to expedite the request.
Acosta Group believes in good faith that the minimum and maximum annual salary or hourly compensation range for this opportunity is accurate and reasonable at the time of posting.

  • Demonstrated fluency with AI tools and emerging creative technologies, with the ability to apply them to prototypes, demos, workflows, creative development, or campaign ideas.

  • Ability to evaluate whether an idea is product-true, technically credible, consumer-relevant, and strong enough to support a campaign, demo, product narrative, internal tool, or workflow.

  • Strong creative judgment, technical taste, and craft, including the ability to know when technology makes an idea more useful, clear, or powerful, and when it simply adds complexity.

  • Ability to collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams, understand technical constraints, and translate them into creative opportunities without overpromising what the product can do.

  • Understanding of responsible AI, privacy, product accuracy, brand safety, and the risks of using generative tools in consumer-facing and internal creative work.

  • Build internal tools, workflows, templates, automations, and prototypes that help the creative team brief, ideate, develop, evaluate, produce, localize, and scale work more effectively.
  • Translate product capabilities and emerging technologies into clear campaign ideas, consumer stories, demos, and product storytelling opportunities.
  • Prototype ideas quickly across AI tools, Figma, lightweight code, APIs, no-code/low-code platforms, apps, interactive experiences, product demos, and creative systems.
  • Partner with creative, marketing, brand, PMM, and product teams to ensure work is grounded in real capabilities, product accuracy, user trust, privacy, safety, and brand standards.
  • Identify practical ways AI can create efficiencies across briefing, ideation, prototyping, production, testing, localization, campaign development, and creative review.
  • Define what a prototype or experiment is meant to prove, evaluate what was learned, and recommend whether an idea should be scaled, refined, or killed.
  • Stay close to emerging creative technology, AI tools, interaction models, and production methods, and translate them into practical experiments that raise the team's creative and technical ambition.
