BlueStar Resort & Golf - Central Services Main Office

BlueStar is a boutique management firm focused on supporting developers, asset managers, and community Boards in the successful operation of their resort and golf amenities. Our expertise is in all aspects of hospitality management, including golf, spa, food & beverage, community clubs, and more, particularly in active adult or age-qualified residential communities. We also provide full-scale landscape services in some locations. Our portfolio spans literally from coast to coast, with many beautiful locations in between.

Where: Scottsdale, Arizona

Pay: $25-$27 per hour 

Benefits:

  • New hourly full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week, will be eligible for the Company medical, dental and life insurance plans the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

  • Full-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Time Off ("PTO") in accordance with the Company policy at a rate of 120 hours per year.

  • Full-Time team members are eligible for 7 paid holidays annually.

  • Part-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Sick Leave in accordance with state guidelines.

  • All team members 21 years and older are eligible to participate in the J.F. Shea Co., Inc. 401(k) plan after completion of 30 days of service.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Creative Services Coordinator is responsible and accountable for the production of tangible collateral and web materials, as assigned, and to maintain the integrity of brand standards for the BlueStar Resort & Golf network of facilities. This position reports to the Sr. Creative Services Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf (BSRG) to support the achievement of company goals.
  • Create a productive and enjoyable work environment to inspire, motivate, and lead by example, with an intention to recognize team member performance.
  • Design collateral, menus, promotional posters, and any other business materials according to brand standards.
  • Handle final outputs, including but not limited to: flat graphics and images for digital use, press-ready files, PDFs, and presentations. 
  • Coordinate production of marketing materials and accessories; facilitate proper lead times for efficient printing and work with field teams to ensure they have the tools they need.
  • Participate in initiation, development, and approval of printed marketing materials, including collateral, working closely with teams in the field, under the direction of the Creative Services Manager.
  • Screen, direct, and/or handle incoming calls correspondence, and e-mail to ensure that requests are handled effectively; keep up to date with correspondence.
  • Maintain relationships with Central Services Team, field teams, promotional product vendors, and others who provide marketing materials.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Proficient experience working in Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Effective writing and proofreading skills required.
  • One to three years' experience in graphic design required.
  • One to three years' related experience and/or training, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office; WordPress, or similar content management platforms preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team; must be flexible and adaptable.
  • Must be creative and innovative and also willing to work with existing standards and procedures.
  • Must be able to consistently achieve high work standards; attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Must demonstrate initiative-ability to think, work, and make independent decisions, based on sound judgment.
  • Must be able to pay attention to multiple details and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

This position operates in a professional indoor office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
