Our client, a well-established player in the rental services space, is seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong focus on new business development and revenue generation. This sales role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships from the ground up and converting opportunities into long-term clients.

While relationship management is part of the role, the primary mandate is to identify, pursue, and close new business across events, production, and commercial rental markets.

The Role

  • Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across events, production, and commercial clients
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry engagement
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to close and client onboarding
  • Develop tailored proposals and pricing aligned with client needs and project scope
  • Collaborate closely with Operations and Logistics to ensure seamless execution post-sale
  • Maintain and grow newly won accounts, focusing on repeat business and long-term value
  • Attend industry events, site visits, and client meetings to drive visibility and generate leads
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue and activity targets
