Job Description

As an Associate Creative Director of Art, you lead the visual and design direction for major healthcare campaigns, establishing creative standards and guiding art teams in execution. You collaborate with copywriters and strategists to develop integrated creative concepts. Your strategic vision shapes how Klick's clients tell their stories visually within healthcare context.
What You'll Do 

  • Lead the visual and design direction for major healthcare campaigns, establishing creative standards and guiding art teams in execution
  • Develop visual concepts and design systems that support client brand positioning and campaign objectives across digital, print, and experiential
  • Mentor art and design teams, conduct creative reviews, and maintain visual quality standards while balancing creative ambition with healthcare constraints
  • Collaborate with copywriters and strategists to develop integrated creative concepts that convey messaging and drive audience response
  • Present creative work to clients, articulating creative strategy and managing feedback through approval and final production
Qualifications

Requirements: 

  • 7–10 years of art direction or graphic design experience in advertising, marketing, or creative agencies with demonstrated leadership
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and strong understanding of visual design principles, color theory, and design systems
  • Portfolio demonstrating ability to establish creative vision, direct design teams, and deliver integrated creative across multiple mediums

Desired:

  • Award-winning work or industry recognition; experience with art direction in healthcare context
  • Experience across multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, rare disease, cardiovascular, or neurology
  • Familiarity with digital production workflows, accessibility standards, and responsive design across healthcare digital channels
  • Exposure to emerging creative technologies including generative AI tools for ideation, asset production, and concepting
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done
