Job description

Creative Marketing Assistant - Remote

Are you a highly organised, self-directed creative operator with a passion for getting things done? We’re looking for a Creative Operations Coordinator to work directly alongside our Director of Creative (DOC), based in Boston, MA. This role is the operational backbone of our creative team – keeping everything accurate, structured, and moving without being asked twice. You will need to be located within the Pacific Time Zone and available during overlapping US business hours to ensure seamless day-to-day collaboration.

About the Role:

You are a tenacious, resourceful operator who thrives on making everything work. You don’t wait to be asked – you anticipate, action, and follow through. You’re comfortable working across creative and technical environments and find real satisfaction in being the person who keeps the wheels turning.

Responsibilities:
  • Subtitle proofreading – Review and approve subtitles on every ad before distribution. Zero errors, every time.
  • Creative spreadsheet management – Maintain an accurate log of all ads including naming, client, format, and status. Updated proactively, not on request.
  • Meta Ads upload management – Upload ads with correct naming conventions and campaign structure. Done right, first time, every time.
  • Basecamp administration – Review all tasks daily, update statuses, flag blockers, and keep the board current – without being asked.
  • Competitor and audience research – Deliver clean, actionable briefs covering competitor creative, audience insights, and hook references.
  • Asset and file management – Name files correctly, store them in the right folders, and keep everything findable at all times.
  • Planning and check-ins – Maintain a regular rhythm of weekly planning sessions, daily awareness of priorities, and active participation in team calls.
  • Creative support – Assist with simple ad variations, resizes, and thumbnails as required. (Desired but not mandatory.)
  • Deadline and launch reminders – Set reminders and proactively follow up with the DOC on upcoming launches and deadlines.
  • Lead generation support – Assist with lead generation tasks as directed.
  • Creative performance analysis – Evaluate what is working and what is not across existing creative assets, and provide informed recommendations on what to retain or retire.
Requirements:
  • Located within the Pacific Time Zone and available during overlapping US business hours.
  • Background in creative marketing, particularly with Meta Ads and Google Ads experience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Clear, confident communicator – able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace programs and intermediate spreadsheet skills.
  • Quick to learn new platforms such as Basecamp, Notion, Canva, Motion, and others.
  • Self-motivated, positive, and proactive – takes initiative without being asked.
  • Experience with creative strategy analysis and performance evaluation is highly valued.

If you are a self-motivated individual with a positive, can-do attitude, great initiative, and exceptional attention to detail – we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and tell us why you’re the right fit for this role.
