Join Harborview Medical Center's teams of outstanding Psychiatry Registered Nurses (RN) Harborview Medical Center is a level one adult and pediatric trauma center as well as regional burn center for a four-state region; a teaching and research hospital for the University of Washington; and a public/safety-net hospital for our diverse community.

UNIT

  • Adults 18-99 plus

  • Two-acute care floors

  • Psych Intensive care unit (Psych ICU)

  • Psych Emergency service (PES)

DEPARTMENT

  • 21-bed unit

  • 2:1 staffing ratios

  • 24/7 security

Our ICU patient population is primarily involuntary. Our nurses and staff understand de-escalation, seclusion, and restraint techniques. Our staff deal with a broad range of complex mental health and medical diagnosis.

SCHEDULE

  • 90% Days

REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduated from a accredited school of nursing

  • Have/obtain a WA state nursing license to practice or MSL

  • One or more years in psych nursing or acute care setting

$87.02 hourly
