Creation Museum Admissions Coordinator

Creation Museum - Petersburg, KY

Overview

Description

The Admissions Coordinator will create a positive and frictionless experience for our Creation Museum guests. Admissions team members assist guests with parking as well as purchasing admission tickets, retail purchases, and rentals in a friendly and efficient manner. This position has a career path that will develop your spiritual and professional growth goals by working with and leading a large team in a God-honoring fashion to achieve great results while having fun along the way.

This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion. This position provides opportunities for spiritual, personal, and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
  • Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
  • Approach all tasks with a second mile mindset.
  • Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
  • Assist guests with parking and admission ticket purchases in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Proactively engage guests at all entry and exit points and provide engaging directions at the Sluice.
  • Assist guests with rental purchases of scooters, wheelchairs, and strollers in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Proactively engage guests to direct and maintain traffic flow.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.
  • Customer service skills: friendly and courteous with guests
  • Strong oral communication skills, comfortable giving direction to guests
  • Basic Math skills: Accuracy in cash and financial transactions with guests
  • Punctual: arriving at workstations at the scheduled time
  • Must be able to stand and move about throughout the attraction for the entire length of shift.
  • Perform duties in varied temperature and weather conditions throughout the attraction (e.g., extreme heat/cold, wind, rain, snow)
  • Bend and lift between 25 to 75 pounds.
