Job description

JOB SCOPE:

· To provide excellent food and beverage service to our guests and other duties as required.


JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Pick up BEO Forms from DOB/ Banquet Captain.

2. Read BEO and determine equipment needs.

3. Prepare side station and maintain neat and well organized (Back of House)

4. Gather the proper amount of silverware, Chinaware and glassware needed

5. Polish Chinaware, Silverware and glassware.

6. Inspect glassware and china for defects

7. Polish Silver Coffee Pots

8. Polish Shaffer’s and serving utensils when applicable to BEO’s.

9. Set and Prepare Coffee and Iced Tea Service Station (Back of house)

10. Pick-up miscellaneous items needed from the Kitchen (Creamer, salt, pepper, butter, candles, etc,)

11. Make sure tables are uniform and set to standard

12. Insure that glass racks, set-up cars and boxes are not in guest sight

13. Inspect linen for holes, rips, stains & tears

14. Place linen on tables in accordance to BEO’s.

15. Place dirty dishes in designated area for Steward pick-up

16. Deposit dirty linen to be laundered after each event

17. insure that trash is put in the proper trash bins

18. Inspect and insure all banquet areas are clean and put back in its proper storage area

19. Maintain Ballroom kitchen, clean and organized

20. Clean as you go

21. Report any damage equipment to DOB/ Banquet Captain

22. Other tasks as required


QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

· 1 - 3 years experience in banquet events/server.

· Experience in full service, high quality establishment
