Pallet Worker

Position Overview:

The Pallet Worker maintains a clean, safe, and organized warehouse by collecting and removing pallets and recyclable materials, operating pallet jacks, loading trailers, and using compactors for proper disposal and recycling.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Collect and remove pallets, cardboard, and plastic wrap from inside and outside the warehouse to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Safely operate pallet jacks to transport pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Load all pallets (damaged and reusable) into designated trailers for disposal or recycling.
  • Operate and monitor cardboard and plastic compactors, emptying them when full according to safety procedures.
  • Stage and load full pallets of compacted cardboard and plastic into trailers for removal.
