We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a crane to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment. The Crane Operator will work closely with the construction team to ensure that all materials are moved safely and efficiently.


Responsibilities:

- Operate crane under general supervision.

- Follow safety procedures and guidelines.

- Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily basis.

- Determine if any parts are malfunctioning.

- Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork.

- Perform preventative maintenance on crane and related equipment.

- Ensure that all work is done in a timely and efficient manner.

- Follow all regulations and laws related to crane operation.


Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid crane operator certification.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a crane.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
