What You'll Do:

As the Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO), you will support our government customer on-site at NAS Fallon, NV, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community security requirements for classified programs. In this role, you will oversee personnel, physical, industrial, and information security activities, maintain program security documentation, coordinate access and clearances, and serve as a trusted security advisor to the customer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and provide training on facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the Operations Security (OPSEC) Plan, facility checklists, and security appointment letters. 
  • Conduct self-inspections and security audits, identify deficiencies, and develop and track corrective action plans. 
  • Serve as the Top Secret Control Officer, administering the Top Secret accountability program and completing required annual inventories. 
  • Establish, maintain, and update security records and documentation in accordance with government requirements, providing regular status updates to the customer. 
  • Manage Program Access Requests (PARs), prepare supporting documentation, and conduct program indoctrinations. 
  • Coordinate Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access requests, indoctrinations, visitor certifications, and required security training. 
  • Maintain access control rosters and administer the facility visitor control program, providing guidance to Access Control Security Specialists supporting 24/7 operations. 
  • Process and maintain personnel security clearances through DISS, Scattered Castles, and other government systems of record. 
  • Prepare, transmit, and maintain visit authorization and certification documentation. 
  • Oversee classified document control, ensuring proper classification markings, handling, transmission, storage, and accountability of classified materials. 
  • Perform document control functions within JADE and SIMS, including document receipt, dispatch, inventory management, records maintenance, and timely retrieval of classified materials. 
  • Collaborate with government security representatives to ensure compliance with applicable security policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:


Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) or in a similar Program Security role. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience applying the requirements of the NISPOM, DoDM 5105.21, DoDM 5205.07 (Volumes 1-4), ICD 700 series, and RMF/JSIG. 
  • Thorough understanding of DD Form 254 implementation. 
  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining multi-disciplined security programs supporting complex acquisition programs. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of operations security (OPSEC), personnel security, industrial security, physical security, and information security principles. 
  • Proficiency with DISS, EPSQ/e-QIP, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). 
  • CDSE training and certifications are preferred. 

Work Schedule:

  • This position follows a scheduled 40-hour workweek consisting of eight-hour shifts. 
  • Scheduled work hours may fall Monday through Friday between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., or Saturday and Sunday between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., based on mission and customer requirements. 
  • Candidates should be flexible and available to work any assigned eight-hour schedule within these operating hours.
