Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Serves as a resource on American Red Cross (ARC)/Lifesaving Society (LSS) provider course curriculum and protocols of Life Time, instructors and participants
- Conducts ARC Skills Sessions while adhering to ARC and Life Time guidelines
- Instructor continues their development by completing updates and training with ARC and Life Time
- Organizes and directs activities of assigned participants in order to provide a high level of quality instruction for all students
- Helps to recruit students needing FA/CPR/AED certification to upcoming classes
- Completes and submits proper documentation to CPR Administrator within 24 hours
- Helps organize and assists in the development of special programs, activities or instruction
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Ability to react to emergency situations by quick movements, strenuous activity, and on occasion assist or lift persons in distress of varying weights
- Required to remain alert to dangerous situations while sitting, standing or walking for various lengths of time
- Ability to manage different age and size of groups during skill practice sessions
- Ability to effectively communicate and teach all skills associated with the course
Education:
- HS Graduate or Equivalent
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
- First Aid, CPR, and AED adult, infant and child certifications
- Current FA/CPR/AED Instructor certification with the American Red Cross or Current Standard First Aid with CPR C Instructor certification with Lifesaving Society
- Other approvals prior to teaching as applicable

- Previous instruction experience
