This role combines hands-on engineering, solution architecture, technical governance, code review, integration design, and delivery leadership across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, Experience Cloud, Revenue Cloud-adjacent capabilities, and enterprise integrations. The role is expected to actively design and build complex solutions while guiding engineering teams and implementation partners.

    Responsibilities:

    • Define target-state Salesforce architecture, design standards, integration patterns, and platform guardrails.
    • Lead solution design for enterprise CRM, field service, franchise operations, customer engagement, and shared services capabilities.
    • Evaluate Salesforce products, AppExchange solutions, and implementation partner recommendations for fit, scalability, security, and total cost of ownership.
    • Serve as the technical design authority for Salesforce platform decisions, trade-offs, and escalations.

    Hands-On Engineering (50%)

    • Build and review Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, platform events, API integrations, and reusable platform components.
    • Create prototypes and proofs of concept for complex capabilities before broader delivery.
    • Lead code reviews, design reviews, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting for critical Salesforce capabilities.
    • Establish engineering practices for branching, deployment, testing, security review, and release quality.

    Delivery and Governance (25%)

    • Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Data, and Integration teams to translate business needs into scalable technical designs.
    • Provide technical oversight of implementation partners and ensure conformance to enterprise architecture standards.
    • Identify technical debt, delivery risks, and platform constraints early and recommend mitigation plans.
    • Mentor Salesforce engineers, administrators, and technical leads across delivery teams.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of enterprise application delivery experience, including 7+ years in Salesforce architecture and development.
    • Deep hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Flow, Salesforce security model, data model design, REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and integration patterns.
