The Red Gate Group is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Chief Information Officer In this role you will provide advanced analytical support to the Integrated Planning and Audit Division (CIO-5) Headquarters within the Defense Intelligence Agency's Chief Information Office. This position leverages statistical tools, data visualization techniques, and process analytics to support executive-level decision-making, governance boards, and enterprise IT planning across the CIO organization. Responsibilities: * Use statistical tools and analytical methods to identify IT spend and budget reduction trends to support investment decisions and low priority list formulation * Use data and process analytic techniques to identify dependencies between IT systems and capabilities to determine the true cost of IT components on the DIA IT environment * Provide data-based recommendations on all resource and program activities * Provide data analysis support to CIO and DIA governance boards including: * * Resource Management Board (RMB) * IT Executive Council (ITEC) * DoDIIS Executive Council (DEC) * Mission Advisory Group (MAG) * Support Agency processes including Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), Risk Management, and Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) activities Qualifications: • Active TS/SCI (CI Poly Preferred) • 12 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years • Master's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S.

Department of Education or Bachelor's degree and 14 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree and 16 years of relevant experience, or 18 years of relevant experience in place of a degree Travel Requirements: * Travel will be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements. Level of Responsibility: * Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of administrative/operational needs. Level of Supervision Required: * The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available.

The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most of the conflicts, coordinates work with others and interpret policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications. Work Environment: * This job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment. * Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing and walking on a frequent basis.
