The Role:

The Global Professional Instructor (GPI) is responsible for delivering CPI’s high‑impact core programming and ancillary programs while creating a superior customer experience for training participants. The GPI serves as a strategic training subject matter expert (SME) who understands the full life cycle of CPI offerings. This role supports CPI Certified Instructors (CIs) with preparation, facilitation, and classroom management, delivering training in standardized formats and collaborating across departments to drive learning, culture, and performance. The GPI interacts with program participants and their designees and maintains frequent communication both internally and externally.

  • Prepare and deliver CPI training programs, including ancillary programs, confidently and consistently while adapting to diverse learning needs and environments.
  • Apply adult‑learning best practices to improve learner outcomes.
  • Maintain proficiency in CPI training programs.
  • Serve as a resource for CIs by providing consultation, coaching, co‑training, and needed resources.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient documentation of GPI‑led training programs.
  • Plan, travel, and track expenses for all training events.
  • Act as an intermediary between hotels, on‑site facilities, and CPI internal teams.
  • Conduct special consultations, seminars, and presentations.
  • Research relevant legislation and regulations related to violence prevention and behavior management.
  • Advise on emerging trends and issues within industries served by CPI programs.
  • Engage with various departments to understand the full cycle of the program from sale to delivery.
  • Participate in cross‑functional upskilling to gain strategic insight into department functions and interdependencies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
You Need to Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license/Real ID
  • Two or more years of experience in the human services field
  • Ability to travel up to 90%
  • Strong organizational skills and a customer‑focused, solution‑oriented mindset
  • Strong presentation skills, an engaging listening style, approachability, and the ability to meet the needs of a diverse participant population
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to demonstrate and perform specific physical intervention techniques
