Job description

Job Summary

Church & Dwight is seeking a Manager, Category & Shopper Insights for iHome Care to lead strategic initiatives and develop category platforms focused on customers. The role utilizes advanced analytical capabilities, market research, and execution tools to elevate influence with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop collaborative relationships with cross‑functional teams to be a trusted resource for category insights and growth opportunities.
  • Build insights to educate and influence marketing and sales strategy at the organizational level.
  • Communicate category management insights within the C&D organization and category management department, respecting confidentiality.
  • Lead and participate in line reviews, recurring customer category reviews, JBP plans, and Top‑to‑Top meetings.
  • Monitor competitive activity and recommend solutions to meet or counter competitive threats.
  • Lead comprehensive understanding of POG/merchandising insights and assortment to identify and drive strategic sales opportunities.
  • Utilize tools and insights (Custom research, Circana, customer POS, Loyalty Card, Panel, Shopper Insights, Assortment, POG) to deliver unique insights.
Performance Metrics
  • Creation of category platforms.
  • Activation of category platforms by Top 10 customers.
  • Category share growth and selling stories support.
  • Distribution share growth or share of shelf growth.
  • Timely delivery of projects (CSD) to benefit the broader commercial organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years in the CPG industry, with 5+ years in Shopper Insights/Category Management.
  • Experience with Nielsen and/or Circana syndicated data.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities.
  • Experience with loyalty card data is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, storytelling, creative problem‑solving, leadership, presentation, influencing, action‑oriented, priority setting, decision quality, and integrity.
Compensation & Benefits

U.S. base salary range: $110,900–$157,900. Eligible for bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, paid parental leave, paid holidays, floating holidays, 401k retirement plan with company match and profit‑sharing, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
