Job description

We're looking for a technical architecture expert with hands-on development experience to define the architecture of the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods Platform and collaborate with engineering to build the platform. This is a technical engineering role and requires familiarity with NVIDIA's GPU acceleration libraries, experience in Retail, CPG, logistics, or marketplaces, and knowledge of enterprise AI architectures will make you an ideal candidate. Join us and take the lead in building the retail platform and help us develop the future of AI in retail.

Your mission is to leverage NVIDIA's existing retail and supply chain blueprints, along with proven workflows and best practices codified through customers and ISV engagements, to define the architecture and build the Retail & CPG platform. You will be responsible for architecting and collaborating with engineering teams across NVIDIA, to build the platform. Built on NVIDIA's full stack-including Agentic AI, Physical AI, and accelerated computing-this platform will power our three strategic pillars: digital commerce, supply chain, and intelligent stores.

What you'll be doing: You will work with Retail & CPG product management, business development, and developer relations teams to harness their deep expertise in supply chain and retail to architect and build a platform that makes it easier for our ecosystem and customers to build AI solutions at scale. The platform will use our NVIDIA Nemo microservices and Nemotron open-source models, with initial priority on Agentic AI for supply chain, digital commerce and employee productivity. This role will initially be an individual contributor with developer experience building AI agents and will collaborate with a strong technical retail and supply chain team, as well as horizontal engineering team(s).

Define product, technical vision and architecture Develop platform strategy across supply chain, stores, and e-commerce Architect and build systems hands-on, using existing Retail and Agentic Commerce, and supply chain blueprints, as well as other key components of NVIDIA platform for hyper-personalization, new formulation discovery with NVIDIA ALCHEMI and CuOpt supply chain optimization solvers. Build a reusable reference architectures for industry adoption. Define the product, technical vision, and architecture for the Retail & CPG platform using NVIDIA's existing blueprints and workflows.

Use NVIDIA technologies like NeMo, NIM, RAPIDS, and cuOpt to write the code and create the platform with help from solution engineers on the team, and resources secured from engineering. Deliver a production-ready platform together with NVIDIA engineering, focusing on latency, throughput, and cost efficiency. Ensure system reliability through monitoring, evaluation, and fallback strategies.

Work together with Solution engineers and developer relations engineers to present the platform to ISVs, GSIs, and customers. Contribute to technical thought leadership and engage with the industry. What we need to see: Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in computer science or electrical engineering.

15+ years of dynamic work experience within high growth tech companies or building AI and agentic solutions for a major Retailer. Builder mentality with proven track record to write code and ship systems. Having experience as a developer of AI agents is a must.

Developer expertise in AI systems, including experience with LLMs, RAG, and agent-based systems. Strong understanding of data pipelines, embeddings, and systems architecture. Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.

Shown success in lean, high-velocity environments, collaborating with engineering. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Familiarity with GPU acceleration libraries (CUDA, Triton, TensorRT). Background in Retail, CPG, logistics, or marketplaces is a plus, but not required.

Experience working with enterprise AI architectures. Master's degree or equivalent experience in computer science is highly desirable. NVIDIA is leading the way in groundbreaking developments in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing, and Visualization.
