Position Overview: This position is responsible for enhancing the consumer experience by ensuring our brand and product messaging connects with shoppers, both in-store and online. The Retail Media Specialist focuses on delivering a seamless experience from discovery to conversion. This position works with Retail Marketing, Brand Design, Sales, and agency partners to activate retail marketing campaigns that drive brand, category, and retailer performance.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • Owns the execution and optimization of assigned retail media search and display campaigns in alignment with business goals and brand strategy for key accounts.
  • Monitors campaign budgets, pacing and performance to ensure efficiency and effectiveness; recommend adjustments to reach KPIs for assigned retail media.
  • Works with Retail Media Strategist to analyze results and prepare reporting on assigned retailer search campaigns.
  • Applies analytical and technical skills to support on-site and off-site display advertising campaigns.
  • Assists in defining target audiences by interpreting brand and sales data, learning to segment customer groups, and applies targeting criteria across digital platforms.
  • Monitors and optimize alignment with program objectives.
  • Works with Retail Marketing Team, Brand Design, Digital Marketing Strategist, Sales and Agency partners to coordinate creative assets for retail marketing campaigns including digital and in-store media to ensure best in class omnichannel experience for consumers.
  • Collaborates with sales team, brokers and internal team to develop knowledge of key retailer business situations, product performance and tactics to support retailer initiatives.
  • Contributes to team processes to execute retail marketing campaigns in-store and online to support seasonal campaigns and innovation launches.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.
  • Complies with Bob's Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

  • This position reports to the Shopper Marketing Manager.

Education and Experience:
  • 2 or more years of marketing experience, AND
  • High school diploma or equivalent; OR
  • Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Bob's Red Mill products and brand.
  • Experience working with Asana
  • Previous consumer promotion or shopper marketing experience

Physical Demands:
  • Position requires the ability to sit for up to approximately two hours at a time.
  • May be required to occasionally lift items weight up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:
  • The primary work environment for this position is within an office setting.
