Job description

Our established, locally owned CPA firm in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing team. We are a small, client-focused practice that values professionalism, teamwork, and providing exceptional service to individuals and closely held businesses.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and nonprofit tax returns
  • Perform tax planning and research
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters
  • Assist with IRS and state tax correspondence
  • Review work prepared by staff and provide guidance as needed
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships


Qualifications

  • Active CPA license required
  • Minimum of 5 years of public accounting tax experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state taxation
  • Experience with CCH ProSystem fx Tax is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
