Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior level CPA who brings both precision and empathy to their work. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review routine to complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and other business entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely completion.
  • Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist in streamlining processes and implementing best practices.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, CCH, Engagement, and other financial software tools.
  • Forward-thinking approach to technology adoption and process improvement, with a willingness to implement AI-assisted workflows responsibly and effectively.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential client information properly.
  • Take ownership of projects, demonstrate sound judgment, and contribute ideas for firm improvement.


Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Minimum 5+ years of recent experience in public accounting.
  • Proficient in corporate and individual income tax preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and trial balance procedures.
  • CPA license required, though experienced candidates actively progressing toward licensure may be considered.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong proficiency with tax preparation software, research tools, Microsoft Office, and related accounting technology.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly and maintain strong client relationships.
