What is a CP3?

CP3 typically refers to a 'Certified Playground Safety Inspector' (CPSI) Level 3, a designation given to professionals who have demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills in playground safety standards and inspections. These individuals are responsible for inspecting playground equipment and environments to ensure they comply with national safety standards, reducing the risk of injuries. CP3s often work with schools, parks, and municipalities to conduct safety audits, provide recommendations for improvements, and educate others about playground safety. Their expertise is crucial in maintaining safe play spaces for children.

To thrive as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), you need a deep understanding of security principles, risk management, and investigative techniques, typically supported by relevant experience and CPP certification from ASIS International. Familiarity with security technologies such as surveillance systems, access control, and incident management software is crucial. Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills help you manage teams and effectively address security challenges. These skills ensure the effective protection of people, property, and information in complex organizational environments.
