Job Summary:
Under the general oversight of the Facilities Manager, staff are responsible for assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds at Treehaven. This position will assist with preparing facilities for visiting groups as directed by the supervisor. Duties may include cleaning, painting, weed-whipping, mowing, and light construction. Treehaven is one of three field stations run by the College of Natural Resources and the campus.
Treehaven's facilities rest on an ancient glacial ridge overlooking 1,400 acres of forest and wetland habitat that hosts an abundance of wildlife species, including osprey, deer, black bear, wolf, coyote, and fisher. Facilities include a large classroom/conference center, two residential living centers that provide overnight accommodations for up to 125 people, and full food service capability.
