Job description

BASE ONE is a concept powered by PENZONE where guests can ground down and level up their careers and lives in an immersive and inspirational environment. BASE ONE offers training, wellness, rentable space for various life experiences, coworking, creative studio resources, and much more.
Summary:
The Community Coordinator will be the first smiling face a guest sees when they walk through our doors and the last goodbye they hear after their visit to BASE ONE. They will check guests in and out, stock shelves and supplies, serve specialty coffees and cocktails, assist with laundry, and create an overall positive guest experience in a beautiful training environment.
Position: Part-time + Fulltime available, Hourly pay rate
Schedule: Thursday - Saturday, as early as 7am-8pm depending on the day. Must have flexibility to work Sunday - Wednesday for events, event schedule varies.
Responsibilities:
  • Guest Engagement: Provide an attentive, fun, upbeat atmosphere catered to the unique experience. This role welcomes new guests into the PENZONE Salon + Spa New Artist Concept, L I T Life + Yoga students for classes, hosts + event attendees, and visitors looking for more information. Some days include all of the above.
  • Beverage and Snack Preparation:
    • Elevated coffee experience (lattes, espressos, etc.)
    • Limited alcohol selection (signature cocktails, wine, mocktails, etc. for team members 21+ years old)
    • Assist with catering logistics - setup, restocking/refilling food, clean-up, and overall maintenance of the food before, during and after events.
  • Guest Check-In/Out: Check in and out guests for their services and products.
  • Guest Assistance: Frequently circulate to ensure all guests have their needs met and answer questions.
  • Service Transactions: Perform service ring outs, handle petty cash, deposits, and cash drawers.
  • Daily Duties: Opening and closing duties, cleanliness (dusting, stocking, loading/unloading dishwasher, light laundry, trash removal, washroom checks).
  • Compliance: Maintain accordance with company standards, state health board, and alcohol service requirements.
  • Space Management: Verify spaces are clean and check out renters to ensure spaces are prepared for the next guest.
  • Stocking: Stock and restock responsibilities.
  • Furniture Management: Move/reset furniture and spaces efficiently and timely.
  • Guest Onboarding: Provide tours, introductions, and free sips to new guests.
  • Tech Support: Support technical questions and escalate issues when needed. **training is included in onboarding, must be able to utilize the knowledge from these trainings to support event flow + technology requirements during the event
  • Event Support: Set up/tear down, coffee and alcohol bar service, clearing and washing dishes, assist in the event flow, assist hosts/guests with questions about the space, assist in technical questions related to training.

  • Upbeat individual with a fashion-forward appearance

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills for confident interactions with all demographics of potential guests/clients
  • Ability to stand/walk for the majority of scheduled shifts
  • Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • 21+ years old candidates preferred
  • Basic understanding of technology support
  • Ability to walk, stand, squat, bend, and lift 20 lbs
  • Guest service, SERVE SAFE, or serving experience is a plus
