Position Overview

As an STNA at Cedarvale Commons, you will provide essential hands-on care and support to residents, helping maintain their comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

  • Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation

  • Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition

  • Take and record vital signs as directed

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members

  • Follow all Ohio regulations and facility policies

Qualifications
  • Current, valid STNA certification in the State of Ohio

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, patient-focused mindset

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Prior long-term care experience is a plus, but not required
