As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as required.
  • Assist with access control, visitor direction, and campus event support while maintaining a professional presence in diverse educational environments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
