  • Responsible for securities processing, posting, proofing, and reconciliation of trust receipts and payments.
  • Processes client distributions through checks, ach, wires, internal transfers and other means.
  • Opens and closes accounts, as directed.
  • Coordinates account transfers from outside custodians.
  • Coordinates the class action distributions.
  • Handles the transfers of data files to vendors.
  • Settles trades and posts income.
  • Assists in preparation of TIC and TC reports.
  • Prepares monthly board reports.
  • Assists Trust Administrators on court reports.
  • Performs reconciling of accounts.
  • Prepares daily transactions and edit reviews.
  • Generates client statements and prepares for delivery.
  • Assist clients with online account access through the trust client portal.
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments, such as operations or information systems, with respect to schedules and procedures.
  • Ensures appropriate documentation is received and filed.
  • Provides for the proper preparation, maintenance, and security of all trust records, files, negotiable instruments, and documents.
  • Personally investigates and resolves problematic situations and operational discrepancies.
  • Tracks department fees.
  • Handles the ongoing preparation and recording of tax records so they are accurate for clients and their tax preparation needs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Strong computer and typing skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
  • Proficient math skills; calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
  • Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision while performing duties.
