Golf Course Maintenance Landscape Crew Member
Prestonwood Country Club, one of the premier private clubs in the Triangle area, is seeking a motivated, dependable individual to join our Golf Course Maintenance Landscape Crew. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work outdoors on our three championship golf courses while contributing to the exceptional playing conditions our members and guests enjoy every day.

What Youโ€™ll Do
As a member of our Golf Course Landscape Team, you will help maintain the overall appearance and playability of our golf courses by performing a variety of landscape and turf care duties, including:
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Preparing golf courses for daily play during early morning course setup
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Mowing and trimming turf using both walk-behind and riding equipment
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Maintaining greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Repairing divots, pitch marks, and ball marks to ensure excellent course conditions
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Edging around sprinkler heads and other landscape features
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Operating equipment such as rough mowers, tractors, and other maintenance machinery
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Performing daily equipment checks, including fuel, oil, coolant, and grease levels
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Reporting equipment damage or mechanical issues to supervisors
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Assisting with special projects, including irrigation installation and repair, drainage improvements, tee construction, turf installation, tree removal, and other golf course enhancement projects
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Qualifications
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Previous experience using landscape or grounds maintenance equipment preferred, but not required
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Reliable transportation to and from work
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Ability to follow instructions and work safely
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Strong work ethic and attention to detail
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Must be at least 16 years old
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Must be authorized to work in the United States

Schedule

Compensation
Competitive tiered pay: $13.50โ€“$16.75 per hour
