THE ROLE
Under the guidance of the Head Teacher, the Teacher Aide plays a vital role in fostering a warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. This position supports daily classroom activities, assists in delivering curriculum, and helps ensure each child feels encouraged and supported in their development.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Support teachers with daily learning activities that promote children’s development
  • Help supervise children during classroom time, play, and transitions throughout the day
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom and play environment
  • Assist children with daily routines such as meals, toileting, and handwashing
  • Help prepare materials and set up areas for lessons and activities (including STEM/STEAM)
  • Escort and supervise children on field trips
  • Follow all health, safety, and program guidelines and attend required training courses.
  • Assist the Head Teacher with additional tasks as needed and help ensure smooth classroom operations
WHO YOU WILL BE
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
