Job description

Please review this posting in its entirety!!! IMMEDIATE HIRE AND START BASED ON BACKGROUND CHECK.


Support courier operations across federal offices in the Washington, DC area, including the Pentagon and Mark Center. You will pick up and deliver mail, parcels, and correspondence on scheduled daily routes, with accuracy, professionalism, and strict attention to handling procedures.  This is an SCA Wage Determination contract, and minimum rates are set in accordance with SCA/WD guidelines.  Due to the nature of this work, this is an on-site opportunity with no exceptions. Background checks and investigations will be conducted.

Responsibilities

  • Complete morning and afternoon delivery routes on time (by 8:00 AM and 12:30 PM ET)
  • Maintain chain-of-custody and obtain signature confirmation for all classified material
  • Track all pickups and deliveries using digital scanning equipment (e.g., TrackIT)
  • Support Ad Hoc and Special Delivery requests as directed
  • Wear a valid government-issued badge at all times while on site

Compensation

  • Clearance Required: SECRET LEVEL
  • Pay Rate: $19.79 / Hour
  • Vehicle Allowance: $200.00 Per Pay Period
  • Benefits Offered: Available Healthcare & Dental
  • Vacation Leave: Accrual up to 120 hours per year
  • Work Day: Team coverage is 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, and may be asked to provide ad hoc after-hours support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of courier, mail handling, or related experience
  • Comfortable with basic equipment: scanners, PDAs, label printers
  • Able to lift and carry packages up to 70 lbs. required
  • Must pass a National Criminal Information Check (NCIC)
  • Must sign a Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to start

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a government or DoD courier environment
