This position is primarily remote, complemented by the option to utilize our newly designed and modern outpatient office facilities in Tampa. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive therapy services tailored to individual and family needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients and developing customized treatment plans.
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, addressing issues such as communication difficulties, conflicts, job stress, and blended family dynamics.
• Delivering individual therapy sessions to family members to support personalized therapeutic goals.
• Employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to manage and treat alcohol abuse and grief and loss issues.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Documenting client progress and maintaining up-to-date records in compliance with state regulations.
• Providing crisis intervention and support during critical situations to ensure client safety and wellbeing.

Your therapeutic expertise will cater to a diverse population, including adults and adolescents, facing challenges such as:

• Family conflicts and communication issues
• Adjustment and coping mechanisms related to separation and divorce
• Support for blended families
• Addressing grief and loss experiences
• Substance abuse concerns

Engaging with clients through empathetic and tailored approaches is crucial in helping them achieve their mental health goals and improving their overall quality of life.

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with an active state license.
• Possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, focusing on family and couple therapy.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Experience with telehealth services and digital care models.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in family therapy.
• Background in collaborative treatment approaches within multidisciplinary teams.
