BASIS Baton Rouge Materra is seeking qualified candidates for a Part-Time Cross Country Coach to join our bright, passionate team!

This is part of an auxiliary program and is not a full-time position.

Pay: BASIS Ed offers a competitive hourly pay for this position.

Required Qualifications:

  • HS diploma, Bachelor's preferred
  • Previous coaching experience
  • Experience working with young athletes
  • Ability to demonstrate cross country skills effectively
  • Experience in cross country at a competitive level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Collegiate student-athlete experience

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively teaching young athletes the fundamentals of cross country
  • Creating and implementing drills to help build foundational skills
  • Coaching students through best practices in sportsmanship
  • Attending all meets and practices
