Job description

Job Purpose:   Empties buckets from under slot machines. Counts, wraps, and records slot drop according to set procedures.

Essential Functions:

  1. Count and wraps all moneys pulled daily and transfers to vault.
  2. Ensure correct procedures are complied with as they relate to currency, coin, chips and related documents.
  3. Responsible for accurate counting and recording of drop box contents (Table Game Drop boxes and Slot buckets).
  4. Verify counted funds with Vault.
  5. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Currency Counting machines.
  6. Responsible for removing and/or pulling money from gaming machines and table games.
  7. Responsible for logging machine counts and turn revenue into the Vault.
  8. Keep assigned area clean at all times.
  9. Professional appearance (well-groomed).
  10. Provide friendly and courteous service to Security and Surveillance.
  11. Performs other duties and projects as required by management.

 Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing and visual acuity.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs)
  • Manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including 10 key adding machine, computers and photocopier.

Working Conditions

  • Typical of that in a busy casino with heavy cigarette smoke accompanied with a variety of competing noises and communications.
  • Flexible hours (week-ends, nights, holidays).

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration

  • Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous money-handling experience.
  • Must have very good communication and written skills.
  • 10 key by touch.
  • Ability to work any shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Documents that establish both Identity and Employment Eligibility.
  • Kickapoo Tribal Gaming License.
