What is a countertop?

Countertops are flat surfaces in kitchens, bathrooms, or other workspaces that provide a sturdy and functional area for various tasks such as food preparation, cooking, or holding items. They are typically installed on top of cabinets and made from materials like granite, quartz, marble, laminate, or solid surface. The choice of material impacts durability, appearance, maintenance requirements, and cost. Countertops play both a practical and decorative role in residential and commercial spaces.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in countertop installation and how can they be addressed?
