Duties of this position include unloading high quality material from vendor trucks, labeling inventory, moving material, entering data in the computer system, and various other warehouse activities.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Receive Deliveries
  • Process packing slips for incoming and outgoing material to make sure the delivery is correct and checked in properly
  • Load and unload slabs of material from trucks
  • Move material using an overhead crane/forklift (slabs, sinks, general shop tools, etc)
  • Load materials on CNC machines using an overhead crane
  • Maintain and keep inventory on all materials
  • Work to proper safety standards
  • Keep slab gallery neat and presentable for future and existing customers
  • Basic shop work when help is needed
  • Use in house computer software to help with daily tasks

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to handle heavy materials - lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing 100+ pounds
  • Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day

Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be the legal age to operate forklift, overhead crane, power tools and other fabricating equipment
  • Experience driving a forklift preferred
  • Experience operating an overhead crane preferred
  • Warehouse/Receiving experience preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge required
  • Experience with hand tools, measuring, safety awareness, etc. required
  • Must be a team player with the ability to focus on client fulfillment
  • Self-directed and capable of staying on task with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adjust on the go
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Must have a valid Driver License
