Job description

LiquiServe is seeking a Beverage Equipment Service Technician to join our team! We are a commercial beverage equipment service provider that is dedicated to providing high-caliber, comprehensive beverage equipment services to our customers.  We provide reactive service, preventive maintenance, and installation on any non-alcoholic commercial beverage equipment.
This position will cover Grand Junction and the surrounding areas. This is a full-time position with the following schedule: Monday – Friday, including some after hours and an on-call weekend rotation in the Grand Junction territory.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial beverage equipment
  • Replace parts as needed and resolve equipment issues in the field
  • Perform preventive maintenance on customer equipment
  • Install and remove countertop beverage equipment for major corporate accounts
  • Provide on-site customer training when appropriate
  • Process service call information remotely using LiquiServe’s dispatch software
  • Complete, organize, and submit accurate paperwork to the corporate office in a timely manner
  • Carry and maintain company-issued communication devices and report any issues promptly
  • Manage parts and equipment inventory
  • Coordinate the delivery and pickup of repair parts and customer equipment
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to drive for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer and mobile technology proficiency
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience servicing and installing:
    • Espresso equipment
    • Drip coffee equipment
    • Liquid coffee systems
    • Juice equipment
    • Fountain equipment
    • Water filtration equipment
  • Experience working in foodservice and convenience store environments
  • Knowledge of basic electricity, including amperage, voltage, and current
  • Understanding of basic heating and refrigeration systems
  • Knowledge of water quality and filtration principles
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
