Counter Sales Representative, HVAC and Refrigeration

The best counter people do not just sell parts. They keep the trade moving.

Full-Time | Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM | Sunrise, FL | Tropic Supply, Inc.

HVAC technicians, refrigeration contractors, and mechanical professionals walk through our doors every day expecting speed, accuracy, and someone who actually knows what they are talking about. That is who we are looking for. Our Counter Sales Representatives are trusted advisors, not order-takers. What You Will Own

  • Help technicians and contractors identify the right part and solve product questions in real time, moving fast without sacrificing accuracy
  • Enter sales orders, process transactions, and handle returns, credits, and warranty claims
  • Keep the front end running cleanly even when volume is high and customers are stacked up
  • Assist with stocking, inventory counts, and helping customers load product safely
  • Build relationships that bring contractors back, treating every interaction as a chance to earn loyalty, not just close a transaction

You are the first person a contractor sees when they walk in and the last impression they take with them. Your job is to make both count.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move materials safely in a warehouse and counter setting
  • Clear, professional, and patient communication under pressure
