Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify client needs, emotional states, and mental health challenges.
• Developing and implementing effective treatment plans to promote psychological resilience and personal development.
• Delivering individualized therapy sessions utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Setting therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and regularly monitoring their progress
• Providing teletherapy options to clients facing accessibility or mobility challenges, ensuring equal access to mental health care.
• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate documentation of sessions, assessments, and treatment plans to meet compliance and ethical standards.
• Engaging in ongoing education and training to ensure the highest quality of care and the incorporation of latest evidence-based practices.

Englewood Counseling Center serves a diverse client population, addressing a variety of mental health issues such as trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and relational concerns. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with individuals from different backgrounds, facilitating healing and growth in their unique journeys. To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LCPC, LCMFT, or PsyD.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective client engagement.
• Empathy and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client caseloads effectively.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in teletherapy or working within private practices will be given preference. Familiarity with mental health technologies and tools for virtual therapy is also beneficial, as our practice emphasizes the use of modern systems to enhance client interaction.
