• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans to facilitate recovery.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to decrease pain and improve patient mobility.
• Progressively modify treatment plans based on patient response, continuously assessing and documenting treatment outcomes in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive and informed patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, therapeutic techniques, and strategies to manage their conditions independently.
• Actively participate in continuing education opportunities and workshops to enhance professional knowledge and skills, ensuring best practices in patient care.

Our Physical Therapists in Fairfax cater to a diverse patient population suffering from various conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries. • Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.

• While prior work experience as a Physical Therapist is not required, candidates with experience in a rehabilitation setting or related field may have an advantage.
• Exposure to assistive devices and technology used for patient mobility would be beneficial.
• Participation in community health-related events or programs is encouraged.

Cottage Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
