Job description

Lake Country Property Management is looking for a Property Maintenance Lead to own the upkeep of our residential and vacation rental portfolio around Canyon Lake. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll spend your mornings solving the day’s urgent calls and your afternoons staying ahead of the problems that haven’t happened yet. We manage a mix of long-term rentals and short-stay lake houses, so no two days look the same. One morning it’s a water heater on the north shore, the next it’s prepping three cabins for a holiday turnover. We need someone who can juggle that, lead a small crew, and keep owners confident their properties are in good hands.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily maintenance and turnover work across roughly 40 properties
  • Schedule and supervise a two-person crew plus outside vendors
  • Handle plumbing, electrical, drywall, and appliance repairs hands-on
  • Run move-in and move-out inspections and document condition
  • Keep a parts inventory and order ahead of busy weekends
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis
  • Build relationships with reliable local contractors
Education
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Trade school or apprenticeship a plus
Skills
  • 5+ years in property or facilities maintenance
  • Proven experience leading a small crew
  • Strong general repair skills across multiple trades
  • Comfortable with a maintenance ticketing app
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and clean record
  • Calm under pressure and good with owners and tenants
  • Competitive salary with annual review
  • Company vehicle for work use
  • Health, dental, and vision
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Phone and fuel covered
  • Room to grow as the portfolio grows
