Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-time and/or PRN

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
  • Provides treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist
  • Instructs families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist
  • Communicates with supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.

Qualifications

  • Active Minnesota Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.
  • A degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
  • Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
